How is the Arcadia node license count calculated?

The number of licensed nodes is calculated by counting the number of data nodes that Arcadia Analytics Engine is installed on plus one additional node for Arcadia Visualization Server. For example, if I have a 5 node cluster, where there are 4 data nodes, I would need a 5 node license (4 data nodes + 1 Arcadia Visualization Server node).

If you have two or more different Arcadia connections that are connecting to two or more different clusters, you will need to count the nodes from all of the connecting systems. For example, if one system had a data node count of 4 and one with a data node count of 7 nodes, the total number of nodes needed for the license would be 12 (4 + 7 + 1 Arcadia Visualization Server node).
