Avoiding "Drill Into" errors related to dimension functions created at the Visual level

In Arcadia, you have the option to create custom calculations at the Visual Builder level:

Although this option gives you flexibility to test and try custom expressions, there are downsides to storing your calculations on a Visual by Visual basis. For example, if you plan on using the “Drill-into” feature

To avoid these errors, you should store your custom expressions or calculations at the Dataset level:

After you’ve created your calculated (cloned) column, you can use it in your Visual and successfully use the “Drill-into” feature:
