Arcadia is showing question marks (?) instead of a health status. How do I fix this?

After installing Arcadia into a newly configured Cluster, you might see that the health monitor statuses are missing (show question marks ?) for Arcadia services:

This can happen if the Java heap is too low for the Cloudera Manager (CM) Host Monitor service. To fix this issue, you can increase the Java heap size for the Host Monitor and/or the Maximum Non-Java Memory of Host Monitor to whatever CM suggests (in the case below it recommends 2GB):
