Adding custom text & footnotes to dashboards

There are many instances that custom text (like logo or instructions) need to be added to a dashboard to provide context or guide the end-user.

Arcadia provide two visual types to add such custom text & logos - both require certain RBAC privileges on the system , specifically “manage custom styles”.

  • Custom Extension - provides ability to create HTML / CSS

  • Rich Text - provides WYSIWYG html editor with out of the box options

The data set consists of 50 samples from each of three species of Iris:

Is there a way we can combine dynamic “Value” as a result from query and fix text together.

For example, using in executive summary e.g. X% Gross margin from Department A (where bold is coming from SQL query).

Currently we use “KPI” and Rich text, 2 boxes placing next to each other
Any better way, please advise.
Thank you very much.

@Stima_Livingpresent have you looked at using the label shelf? you can use that to display dimensional values as show below:

You can even write custom expressions like this:

    concat ( 'Total sales from region - ' , max([Region]))
